This policy explains what information Counter Top Sales, a countertop company based in Denver, Colorado, collects through this website, how we use it, and who helps us process it.
Information you give us
This website does not have user accounts, does not take payments and does not accept file uploads. The only personal information we collect is what you choose to type into our quote request or contact forms.
Those forms ask for the following details. The message field is optional.
- Your name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Project address or general location
- Budget range
- Material you are interested in
- Project type, such as kitchen, bathroom or wet bar
- An optional message with any other details you want to share
How your form submission is handled
This is a static website, which means our own web pages do not run a database that stores your submission. When you press the submit button, your browser sends the form contents directly to a form-processing service operated by SymplerCMS (app.symplercms.com). That service delivers your request to Counter Top Sales by email.
SymplerCMS may keep a copy of your submission under its own practices and policies. Copies of the request will also exist in the email accounts we use to run the business.
Our forms include a hidden field that people cannot see. It is a spam trap: automated bots tend to fill it in, and submissions that do are treated as spam. It does not collect any information about you.
How we use your information
We use the details you send us to respond to your request. That includes contacting you by phone or email, preparing an estimate, scheduling a measurement or consultation, and following up about your project.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with other companies for their own marketing. We may share it with people or services that help us complete your project or run the business, or when required by law.
Chat widget
The site loads a chat widget provided by SymplerCMS from app.symplercms.com. If you use the chat, the messages and any details you type into it are sent to SymplerCMS and made available to us so we can reply.
Because the widget is loaded from a third-party server, SymplerCMS may receive basic technical information that any web request includes, such as your IP address and browser type, even if you do not start a chat. The widget may also use cookies or similar browser storage of its own. Those practices are governed by SymplerCMS, not by this site.
How long we keep information
We keep project requests and related emails for as long as we reasonably need them to respond to you, complete and support your project, and keep ordinary business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will do so unless we need to keep it for a legal or business record reason.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also tell us to stop contacting you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, and we will respond to requests as those laws require.
Children
This website is meant for adults planning home projects. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us. No method of sending or storing information online is perfectly secure, so please do not include sensitive details such as financial or government identification numbers in a form or chat message.
